For this edition of Four Corners panel talk, we brought together four practitioners working across live experience, interactive installation and technology to explore what makes a piece of design command attention, invite participation and remain memorable long after it has been encountered.

Joined by Kate Dawkins, designer and director specialising in large-scale live experiences and visual storytelling, Jason Bruges, artist and designer known for interactive installations and responsive environments, Priya Khanchandani, curator and writer focused on design history and cultural interpretation, and Greg Bunbury, graphic designer and curator working across public interventions and social impact, the discussion examined how design shapes the way we see, move through and respond to the world around us.

Moving through topics on spectacle and spatial technology to material, movement and narrative, the panel explored the decisions behind compelling physical experiences, and how designers can create meaningful encounters in a world increasingly shaped by digital distraction.
