In our inaugural Four Corners panel talk, we were joined by some of London's music industry leaders and grassroots advocates, Charlie Dark MBE,  DJ and founder of Attica Blues and Run Dem Crew, Amy Spencer, musician and project manager at Stones Throw Records, ∫ co-host of South London’s live music session, Steamdown and Sophie Brownley, advocate with the Nightlife Task Force and Music Venue Trust, to find out what it takes for independent musicians to build authentic connections with true fans in today’s complex music industry landscape.

From debunking algorithmic pressures and building direct fan ownership to saving grassroots music venues and protecting cultural infrastructure through Agent of Change, the panel explored the challenges promoters, cultural space managers and creatives working in music are facing today alongside ways the industry and policymakers can work towards a more sustainable future.
