Traditionally tied to masculine power and status, falconry is reimagined here through the young women who are redressing the balance and quietly subverting these inherited traditions.

Focusing on the relationship between human and bird, built on trust, respect and skill, the works reflects a growing fascination with how traditions are passed down and evolve over time.

Lauren Maccabee is represented by DMB Represents, an international artist management agency and full-service production company based at Hackney Downs Studios. DMB Represents works with a roster of innovative artists, producing high-quality visual content and creative projects across disciplines.
