Hackney Drinks Market - Gin Special

Today in London there are over 100 regular food markets, but not one regular drinks market. Despite the fact that there are more breweries per capita in the UK than any other country in the world and an explosion in every other kind of drinks producing.

After last months successful grand opening, we believe people should cherish their local gin distillery also (just like their local brewery) and that we should sip a glass of local gin with the same local pride as a pint of local ale.

So this month is a gin special showcasing local small batch gins from around London. At each stall you will be able to meet your local gin distiller and drink or take home what they have created. Tiny batch Highwayman Gin will also offer you the opportunity to create your own bespoke gin and 58 Gin will take you on a tour of their small batch distillery. You’ll also be able to try gin with Sandows cold brew coffee, gin with Bermondsey made tonic and gin lollies. For food the London Charcutier will even be curing duck in local gins.

As usual there will also be an amazing range of other London made drinks from London’s first Winery London Cru to cocktail on draft from The Craft Cocktail Company and small local breweries including Wild Card Brewery in Walthamstow or Trumans In Hackney Wick.
