Three hair studios making waves in Camberwell

Meet MoeDaBarber, Cobh Studios and Wig Works, the South East London hair studios, shaping distinct practices from their base at Cornerstone Studios.

At Cornerstone Studios, hair is treated as a design discipline in its own right. Across the building, three residents are shaping how their clients see themselves and how hair can function as sculpture, ritual and self-expression. From precision barbering to luxury colour work and expressive wig installs, they each bring a distinct and impactful perspective to the community.

MoeDaBarber

Inside MoeDaBarber’s studio you’re met with a space that carries the focus and discipline of its founder, Moe, in every detail. Moving from Barbados to London, and then into Cornerstone in January 2025, his journey speaks to an immense technical skill and dedication to building a brand that has seen him rack up some 84k followers across social media.

Having spent over a decade honing his craft, Moe welcomes clients from across London, and treats his craft as a premium service, his studio a place where clients leave feeling sharper and more confident.

Nearly two years into life at Cornerstone Studios, he’s now focused on building a legacy. And what does that look like? Growing his team, balancing family life with a thriving client base, and continuing to offer a detail-driven experience to every person who takes a seat in his chair.

Cobh Studio

Founded by award-winning hairstylist and colourist Andrew Thomas Jones, Cobh Studio brings a quiet yet powerful luxury to Cornerstone. Since launching in one of our courtyard studios in February 2025, Andrew has meticulously transformed the space into a calm, elevated sanctuary for modern beauty, with thoughtful touches that make it feel like a “home away from home”. It’s no surprise that the studio effortlessly balances high-quality, luxury services with a relaxed, laid-back approach. Renowned for his innate understanding of the client’s desired look, each appointment is a highly coveted spot in the calendar.

With a clientele that includes Ruth Wilson, Nicola Coughlan and content creators such as Gabby Allen, Summer Fox and Maddie Grace Jepson, Andrew’s work moves easily between red carpet, editorial and everyday life, while the studio’s atmosphere remains intimate and quietly refined.

Wig Works

Wig Works, founded by stylist and wig specialist Michelle Boateng, invites clients to experiment. Having relocated to Cornerstone Studios in February 2025 and relaunched earlier this year, Michelle has shaped Wig Works into a space where classic styling and bold self-expression go hand in hand. Her practice centres on creating custom lace wigs tailored to each client, from subtle, everyday transformations to bolder looks for special occasions, alongside seamless installations, reinstallations and expert work with pieces crafted by other stylists. What anchors it all is her mission to help clients feel confident, beautiful and genuinely excited about their style.
