We’re incredibly excited to announce our 10th anniversary Open Studios Series 2019, a celebration of 10 years of Eat Work Art across Netil House, Hackney Downs Studios and Old Paradise Yard.
Eat Work Art is celebrating its 10th anniversary of providing vibrant creative spaces. Each year we attract thousands of people to our annual Open Studios events, with the public eager to see the worlds created inside our buildings. We’ve gained widespread media coverage, developed some iconic spaces and experiences such as Netil360, and seen extraordinary successes from our residents.
Open Studios is the culmination of our ongoing resident, local and wider community engagement throughout the year, as well as an opportunity for members of the public to discover our sites and the inspiring emerging and established creative people behind them.
The programme includes taster masterclasses and workshops, exclusive sample sales, live music, screenings, talks & panels, installations, art exhibitions, drinks, street food, after parties and much more.
Join us for any or all of the events in the series to celebrate the creativity we foster.
Netil House - 20.06.2019
Netil House will host the first event of the Open Studios series. On the 20th June, attend our free annual event showcasing the exceptional work of our 100+ residents; from long standing studios to brand new creative teams.
Throughout the evening you’ll have the chance to explore the building, and be inspired by the original work on show; filmmaking, photography, fashion, graphic design, art, architecture, music and so much more.
Enjoy an exceptional selection of live music curated by Netil Radio and Noatune Studios. Venture through the studios and discover visual installations, exclusive sample sales, interactive workshops and more. Afterwards head to Netil360 rooftop to watch the sun go down over East London and party into the night at NT's Bar.
Hackney Downs Studios - 04.07.2019
Our Eat Work Art Open Studios series continues with Hackney Downs Studios on 4th July.
Embark on a journey around the building and enjoy art exhibitions, interactive installations, sensory workshops, exclusive sample sales, live screen printing, life drawing sessions, plenty of music and so much more. Featuring food & drinks from Hackney Downs Vegan market in collaboration with Fat Gay Vegan.
Old Paradise Yard - 11.07.2019
Closing our Open Studios series will be Old Paradise Yard on 11th July.
Visit this hidden gem set just a stones throw from the Houses of Parliament and Southbank, home to a diverse community of artists, makers, craftspeople, fashion and graphic designers, architects, artists, prop makers, musicians and more.
Come take a journey around our building and enjoy art exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, food & drinks, live music curated by IKLECTIK and so much more.
