Food & Beverage Residents Offering Adapted Services During Lockdown 3.0

As we enter a third national Lockdown, there are many ways you can still support independent and small businesses from your home, from shopping local to ordering takeaways and DIY kits, leaving reviews or purchasing a voucher.

Eat Work Art provides versatile workspaces and exists to support and nurture a creative community. The business has worked closely with residents over the past year to offer tailored support where possible to ensure residents can adapt, survive and eventually thrive.

Many of the Eat Work Art residents continue to offer food deliveries, takeaway and adapted services to serve customers safely during lockdown 3.0.

Hackney Downs Studios

Pastore Pasta - The authentic Italian eatery serving ancient grain pasta will be offering their dishes via their app for delivery and click & collect. New collaborations and a brand new exciting menu will be revealed this week!

Brunswick East Bakehouse - The popular Australian brunch spot will be open for takeaway, click & collect and delivery services. The Bakehouse opening times over lockdown are 8.30 till 5pm, 7 days a week. Kitchen closes at 3pm.

Restore - The plastic-free, refill shop based at Hackney Downs Studios remains open, offering package-free essentials and refills (Mon-Fri: 12pm-5pm | Weds: 12pm-6pm |Sat-Sun: 11am-4pm). They also offer online services via click & collect or delivery.

All Good Beer -The providers of natural wine and the very best craft beers will remain open with reduced hours, as well as offering takeaway (12pm-6pm), click & collect, local delivery services & Deliveroo (every Wed, Thurs, Fri & Sat) and nationwide shipping on their drinks. All orders will need to be made online on their website or via Deliveroo (3pm-8pm).

Netil House

Netil House is located in the heart of East-London, offering over 100 studio spaces for creative businesses and professionals. It also provides retail space for independent businesses, including F&B.

Palm Greens - The plant-based cafe will continue to operate for takeaway and deliveries. Now open Saturdays & Sundays! Menu tweaks for weekends with some added sweet treats but keeping to staples. Expect salads plus breakfast dishes, drinks, warming soups, dals and dressings, all available from their website.

Bright London - The wine bar & restaurant from the team behind P.Franco, Peg & Noble Fine Liquor will continue to offer fine dine takeaway and click & collect options from 12pm-7pm Monday to Sunday.

Netil Market

Netil Market offers a creative market with delicious street food adjacent to London Fields. Open from 11am-6pm Friday-Sunday, the open-air venue offers the perfect setting to pick-up socially distanced food during lockdown. Highlights include:

Bao - The popular Taiwanese venue will be open as normal and offering takeaway delivery with BAOs and Rice Error. They will also be offering their Made-by-you Kits online here and will be introducing a new product every week. Live this week on the online shop is Xinjiang Lamb Made-by-you Kit.

Lucky Chip - Lucky Chip Burgers will be offering their own daily takeaway service for the full menu of food and drinks, available to order directly from their website. They will also be operating on Deliveroo and UberEats as normal.

Paradox Coffee - The independent coffee venue will be closed this week - reopening Saturday 9th from 9.30am offering the finest takeaway coffees to keep customers fuelled over lockdown.

Stuffed Ravioli - Handmade ravioli hut will be open and operating for takeaway and collection at the market via ClickItLocal, Deliveroo and UberEats.

The Arty Vegan - The gourmet vegan food providers will remain open to help you kickstart your Veganuary. Their deli-shop will be open for people to grab their vegan essentials, including: fresh tofu, full range of scheeses, better butter and zero waste okara bread. Open Thus-Sun from 10am.

The Bagel Guys - They will be open as usual for click & collect, sandwiches will be available for takeaway and delivery on Deliveroo and UberEats. They will be running their own home delivery service on Thursday for bags of bagels and cream cheese.

Treats Club - The famous desert bar will be offering a range of options to ensure their following don’t miss out during lockdown. This includes takeaway orders (fully distanced), online hot donut kits which are available for nationwide delivery (the first and only hot donut kits in the country), pre-orders and click and collect, plus takeaway via JustEat and Deliveroo.
