Food & Beverage Residents Offering Adapted Services During Lockdown
As we enter a second lockdown period, we can still enjoy our favourite local eateries on-the-go and from the comfort of our homes. Many of the Eat Work Art residents have been able to activate food deliveries and takeaway services to serve customers safely during lockdown. With the first lockdown under their belt, businesses have been able to adapt quickly to continue offering their much-loved products.
Eat Work Art provides versatile workspaces and exists to support and nurture a creative community. The business has worked closely with residents over the past year to offer tailored support where possible to ensure residents can adapt, survive and eventually thrive.
We asked our F&B residents how they will be adapting and serving over lockdown 2.0:
Netil Market
Netil Market offers a creative market with delicious street food adjacent to London Fields. Open from 11am-6pm Friday-Sunday, the open-air venue offers the perfect setting to pick-up socially distanced food during lockdown. Highlights include:
Bao - The popular Taiwanese venue will be open as normal and offering takeaway delivery with BAOs and Rice Error. They will also be offering their Made-by-you Kits online here.
Lucky Chip - Lucky Chip Burgers will be offering their own daily takeaway service for the full menu of food and drinks, available to order directly from their website. They will also be operating on Deliveroo and UberEats as normal.
Paradox Coffee - The independent coffee venue will continue operating as normal offering the finest takeaway coffees to keep customers fuelled over lockdown.
Pockets - Now open for their takeaway menu of classical falafel and pitta chips Saturday/Sunday. They will keep customers updated on more menu items and extended opening hours as they come.
Sonora - The Mexican taco eatery will remain open for takeaway collection from the market and will be sharing tortilla packs and salsa macha jars via delivery if you need.
Stuffed Ravioli - Handmade ravioli hut will be open and operating for takeaway and collection at the market via ClickItLocal, Deliveroo and UberEats.
The Arty Vegan - The gourmet vegan food providers will continue to serve hot vegan raclette, bunny chow stew, breakfast/lunch toasties for takeaway and their deli-shop will be open for people to grab their vegan essentials, including: fresh tofu, full range of scheeses, better butter and zero waste okara bread.
The Bagel Guys - They will be open as usual for click & collect, sandwiches will be available for takeaway and delivery on Deliveroo and UberEats. They will be running their own home delivery service on Thursday for bags of bagels and cream cheese.
Treats Club - The famous desert bar will be offering a range of options to ensure their following don’t miss out during lockdown. This includes takeaway orders (fully distanced), online hot donut kits which are available for nationwide delivery (the first and only hot donut kits in the country), pre-orders and click and collect, plus takeaway via JustEat and Deliveroo.
Hackney Downs Studios: downmarket_
Hackney Downs Studios provides over 200 creative workspaces ranging from flexible desks to large-scale workshops, creative offices and high-end individual studios for creative practices. It is also home to downmarket_ a casual dining area and social hub.
Pastore Pasta - The authentic italian eatery serving ancient grain pasta will be offering their dishes through recipe boxes and takeaways. They will also be offering customer loyalty card points during lockdown to claim free dishes.
Brunswick East Bakehouse - The popular Australian brunch spot will be open for takeaway, click & collect and delivery services. They have tweaked their menu to ensure their brunch dishes are takeaway friendly and have stocked up their lovely selection of larder items for you to enjoy from home, including their sourdough bread.
All Good Beer - The providers of natural wine and the very best craft beers will be offering click & collect, local delivery services (& Deliveroo) and nationwide shipping on their drinks. All orders will need to be made online on their website or via Deliveroo (3pm-8pm).
Netil House
Netil House is located in the heart of East-London, offering over 100 studio spaces for creative businesses and professionals. It also provides retail space for independent businesses, including F&B.
Palm Greens - The plant-based cafe will be offering their 3 favourite salads plus breakfast dishes, drinks, warming soups, dals and dressings via take out and delivery, all available from their website.
Bright London - Offering lunch takeaway options, including squid sandwiches from midday-7pm from Wednesday-Sunday. Their menu will be updated, so keep an eye on their Instagram for updates.
