Eat Work Art | The Year in Review

Mid December saw the Eat Work Art team come together for a night of celebration and reflection on the projects and achievements of 2019. A passionate team from across Marketing, Front of House, Resident Experience and Development transformed one of our railway arch at Hackney Downs Studios into an atmospheric festive space.

The team worked with Eat Work Art residents from across our sites and local independent businesses to ensure the evening had everything necessary to celebrate. Earthy florals and atmospheric lights hung from the arched ceiling whilst the team enjoyed a curated cocktail menu and delicious home-cooked food.

A speech from director Leo Lawson-O’Neil reminded everyone of the highlights of 2019, including the launch of downmarket_, our Eat Work Art Open Studios 10th anniversary and a brand new website and marketing strategy. Things to look forward to next year include the Eat Work Art card launch, the development of 40 new studios at Hackney Downs and growth of our brand new site Alma Yard in Plymouth.

With the ambitious plans for next year we have a few key positions opening up within our team, including a Community Manager for Hackney Downs Studios to ensure exceptional resident experience.
