An opportunity has arisen for an Events and PR Lead to join Eat Work Art.
This role will be responsible for conceiving, producing and scaling a programme of cultural events across Eat Work Art’s London sites, showcasing our resident community, attracting new audiences and strengthening our buildings’ reputations as cultural destinations.
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 p/a
Employment Type: 12 month FTC, with option to extend
Reports to: Brand Manager
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week

Location: Netil House, E8 3RL, with travel to our London sites as required
Key Responsibilities
1.Events & Activations
● Develop and deliver a year-round programme of cultural events (exhibitions, open studios, markets, talks).
● Activate EWA’s gallery and event spaces, ensuring maximum utilisation as both cultural and commercial platforms.
● Curate events that showcase resident talent and bring external audiences into our sites.
● Manage all aspects of event production: programming, budgets, logistics, health & safety, and partner relations.
● Work with the Brand Manager to secure sponsorships, partnerships, and collaborations to offset costs and drive towards financial self-sufficiency.
● Work with the Brand Marketing team to ensure events are leveraged for PR, social, and lead generation.
● Collaborate with site teams to integrate events into the resident experience.
● Track and report on KPIs: attendance, leads generated, resident engagement, and ROI.
2.Public Relations
● Build and maintain a tiered media list and outreach cadence.
● Work with Brand Manager to draft and distribute press releases and media kits.
● Manage press invites to larger scale and high impact events.
● Track and report PR impact tied to brand and lead generation KPIs (backlinks, share of voice and volume of mentions).
About You
● Proven track record in creative event production within the arts, culture, or lifestyle sectors.
● Strong network within London’s creative and cultural scene.
●Highly organised project manager with experience handling budgets, logistics and multiple providers.
● Creative eye for curation and brand alignment, with exceptional attention to detail.
● Confident and proactive communicator, able to collaborate with stakeholders, residents and external partners.
● Passionate about creative communities and shaping cultural destinations.
● Minimum of 2 years’ of relevant experience
