Sheridan Tongue

BAFTA-nominated, Belfast-born composer Sheridan Tongue is best-known for working on award-winning drama series and documentaries from the BBC, ITV and The Discovery Channel that have reached a global audience.

Having started his career working in London recording studios with icons such as Robert Plant, Johnny Marr and Blur, Sheridan was presented with a gold record for his work on the album ‘Prodigal Sista’ by Beverly Knight. He segued into film and television composition and worked on SPOOKS (BBC/Kudos), which secured him a BAFTA nomination for Best Original Music.

In 2016, Sheridan released an album of original music as IN-IS entitled 'Seven Days', which Aesthetica Magazine described as a "contemporary ode to Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture and a textural experience of sounds".
