WOODBURNER

We are very excited to have WOODBURNER return to The Russet every Tuesday throughout April and May.

On the line up this week is Mr Morski, Max Baillie and Hattie Whitehead.

Woodburner carries the torch for live acoustic music in East London. Best-known for weekly nights, which attract 100s of people every week in Summer, the events showcase top quality music in beautiful, atmospheric, and often little-known venues.

They've hosted so many incredible acts it's impossible to name them all. As well as host Theo Bard, locals who have performed include Johnny Flynn, Nick Mulvey, Sam Lee, Cosmo Sheldrake, and Whiskey Moon Face. Not-so-locals include This is the Kit, Cocos Lovers, The Turbans, The Langan Band, CC Smugglers, The Melodic, and Gill Landry (Old Crow Medicine Show).

They also have a long history of programming at weekend festivals, programming stages at Secret Garden Party and Wilderness Festival, Fire in the Mountain, Cock and Bull, and smaller local events such as Hidden Rivers Festival and Hackney Summer Fair.

Woodburner is a partner promoter with Global Local, programming acts for a range of festivals and events, including London Remixed Festival.
Diversity is the key to amazing music events, and the musical ethos is about showcasing the very best musicianship which draws from roots music around the world.
