The Crass Menagerie present HMS Fabulous Broadside

The night begins with a set by the band Toe Jam (female vocalist, soul-funk-disco, 6-piece) from 8-9pm.

Then join the shipwrecked HMS Fabulous Broadside on the shores of Lake Titty Ha-Ha, where The Crass Menagerie are hurled into a dark and deliciously subversive nirvana. Not ones to be hindered by such a glitch, The Crass Menagerie continue with their riotous evening of shriek-inducing, gender-bending, literary and socio-political burlesque: songs, dances, stripping, drag acts and much more...

A little about The Crass Menagerie:

Conceived in Brussels one heady summer, The Crass Menagerie was birthed from the petticoats of Cambridge University's most sexually frustrated and satirical students. Under the name of Burlesque!, this cheeky band of reprobates have performed in cellars, crypts, Cambridge colleges, the Corpus Playrooms, at May Balls and the Cambridge Union, spreading glitter, confusion and arousal in their wake.The time has now come for them to spread their talons and take the rest of the world by the horn.
