'Burgerz' by Travis Alabanza

Performance artist Travis Alabanza and Hackney Showroom present a show that is timely, unsettling and powerful.

After someone threw a burger at them and shouted a transphobic slur, Alabanza became obsessed with burgers. This show is the climax of their obsession – exploring how trans bodies survive and how we can address our own complicity.

The event is aimed at trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people, and open to anyone that faces harassment based on their trans/queerness.
