Introducing new Music Monthly playlist
For November, artist Adam Bartlett's work accompanies a playlist they describe as celebrating the 'bassy and shimmering, the colourful and dramatic'. Get listenin' below.
Ever feel like you're living your life in a movie, just without the perfect soundtrack? Well you no longer have to suffer in silence as Kingdom Collective present the first in a series of monthly playlists for the Eat Work Art family (a.k.a Netil House, Hackney Downs Studios & Old Paradise) ft. Adam Bartlett on the artwork.
Hear what Kingdom Collective have to say about their creation:
“Welcome neighbours to the first edition of Music Monthly. We’ll be putting together a playlist each month drawing on various local goings on and seasonal concerns: some of the best in music new, and less so. Each instalment will feature artwork by one of your fellow EWA residents. This month’s kaleidoscopic wonder comes from Hackney Downs Studios’ resident Adam Bartlett, who’s Tumblr page you can check out HERE.
With the clocks going back and the nights drawing in, we’re toasting the night. As nomadic market Night Tales docks a new bricks-and-mortar abode and the annual festival of explosions in the sky looms into view, the first edition is indebted to the bassy and the shimmering, the colourful and dramatic. Fireworks for the ears.”
