Hackney Downs Studios Open Studios 2017

Housing an array of creative businesses from architects to fashion designers, Hackney Downs Studios hosted the biggest ever Open Studios event including a roller disco and live screen printing.

For the third year running, Hackney Downs Studios hosted the biggest event of the year in July, showcasing the best creative work that our residents have to offer. Featuring hosts were designers, makers, illustrators and many more, the night was the perfect chance to explore our studios and get to know of our buzzing creative community.

Fed by a vegan market in collaboration with Fat Gay Vegan and music supplied by Netil Radio, residents and guests danced to the tunes supplied by the record store Low Company, skated round our one-night-only roller disco and roamed around the studios taking in live screen printing from People of Print, making purchases at the exclusive sample sales and learning new skills at the weaving workshops.
