Natalie Ellner

Each of my designs has a story behind it, a character with it’s own personality. Wearing one of my pieces is like being given a golden ticket to behave in a fantastical way, to relinquish control and connect to a magical part deep inside yourself.

Each piece I make is hand crafted and due to my training as a Prosthetic Limb maker I approach each piece through the eyes of a sculptor.  I like to focus on the forms, textures and motions present in the natural world, like the perfect rippled crevices of the underside of a mushroom or the ethereal movements of Jellyfish in water.

I have bee fortunate enough to create 7 headpieces for actress Kate Winslet including her Magpie inspired hat to collect her CBE from HRH The Queen, Magical UnicornS for Aynhoe park, 14 headpieces for The Animal Ball at Clarence House AND 70 bespoke masks for an Olympic ball held at the Royal Academy of Arts to name a few.  I have been featured in international press including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Huffington Post, The Telegraph, Grazia and i-D Magazine and had my work exhibited at Sotheby's Auction House, Selfridges, Leica Studios; Mayfair and Walton Street Chelsea with some my best woodland themed pieces displayed at Matthew Williamson’s flagship store in Mayfair.
