2023 Wrapped | Residents highlights at our studios
That's a wrap on 2023. Take a look back at just a handful of outstanding projects over the last year from our community across London.
Netil House & Sunbury Workshops
1) Earthrise Studio
Launching their new productions studio in Netil House, collaborating with fellow resident Noatune Studios on soundproofing
2) Netil House Open Studios for the London Design Festival
With design resident XK Studio, A Running Commentary, Two Times Elliott and Max Radford Gallery opening their studios for one night only, Netil House celebrated the London Design Festival in style. Some 300 people came through our doors and gained insight into the cutting edge work taking place in motion design, animation, branding and interior objects.
3) Bambi launch
Launching our newest restaurant at Netil House, Bambi, brought to Netil House by the team behind The Camberwell Arms, Gladwell's Deli and Frank's Café.
4) Kokoroko bringing out their latest mix 'Could We Be More Remixes'
It was a big year for Kokoroko — from filming their first music video to playing their first music festival in Mexico, the highlights were too many to count. The end of the year was closed out by the release of CWBM Remixes.
5) Dilara Findikoglu
Celebrating Halloween in the only way she knows how, Dilara Findikoglu brought us darkness and desire at her Versailles-themed ball.
6) Marlow & Moss
Having taken over the musical theatre world in 2022, Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss saw their award-winning show hit the stages of South Korea early this 2023.
7) Willy's Pies
Willy's Pies hit the stratosphere this autumn, with the launch of their collab pie with Wagamama.
8) A Running Commentary x Two Times Elliott
A Running Commentary, formerly known as Dirty Films, undertook a refresh of their brand with the help of fellow design resident Two Times Elliott
9) AURUM.Ldn, Brother_ldn & Hackney Muse
To celebrate Christmas, our retailers at Netil Market held a two-day market in December, spotlighting a range of local indepndent brands.
10) Salon Ichini
Kentaro Kondo of Salon Ichini set up his first hair salon space after years of working across the world.
Hackney Downs Studios
- International Women's Day exhibition at Hackney Downs Studios
A collection of works exhibited by a handful of our residents, celebrating IWD.
- Max Radford Gallery
Exhibition to celebrate the launch of The Hangar studio collection at Hackney Downs Studios.
- Mexican Summer
Resident record label celebrated their 15th anniversary in Paris and Los Angeles, which featured artists such as Connan Mockasin and Cate Le Bon.
- The House of MAH by MAH Gallery
MAH Gallery's The House of MAH featuring in Bazaar Living.
- Dreamachine at Hackney Downs Studios
For their residency at our studios, they brought thousands of people through their doors in 2023 to witness this installation.
- Blue Nude
Blue Nude marking the launch of their latest collection 'Nebulous Realms', curated in collaboration with Lea Rose Kara and fellow resident Studio Cosmogram.
- Spazio Leone
Collaborating with Friendly Pressure for the London Design Festival, Spazio Leone held a private view of their latest collection.
- LOAH
LOAH Beer opening London's first low-alcohol taproom, featuring their selection of lagers.
Cornerstone Studios

4-in-1 contemporary art exhibition
- Rhubarb Store
Rhubarb Store, a vintage and archival fashion brand, rebranded this summer to represent their new direction.
- Charlotte Mei
Resident illustrator Charlotte Mei ran a workshop for the London Design Festival, ran by LEGO and NICCE, to celebrate their latest Botanical Garden collection.
- Alec Doherty Jewellery
Launch of Alec Doherty's latest jewellery collection 'STUCK', where gem stones are placed into metal to form abstract faces and characters
