ZCD Architects

ZCD Architects was formed in 2013 by Zoe Smith, Cordula Weisser and Dinah Bornat.

Zoe Smith was a co-founding director of Block Architecture (1998-2010), and more recently set up ZS Architects.

Cordula Weisser started as a principal member of FAT and subsequently was a co-founding director of Working Architecture Group (2001-2013).

Dinah Bornat is a founding co-director of ZCD Architects. Dinah is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a member of the Hackney Estate Regeneration Design Advice Group. She runs a post graduate design unit at University of East London, the themes of which run closely alongside the practice’s interest. Dinah was previously founder of Bornat Architects, where she completed a number of projects, including Dean Barn the sustainable house in Hampshire. Prior to that Dinah was a director at Edward Cullinan Architects, where she project architect on a range of projects including the Betty and Gordon Moore Library at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences in Cambridge and Rose Court in Clink Street London.

ZCD Architects collectively bring a broad range of experience in different sectors including Arts, Commercial, Residential and Exhibition design.
