Shabnam's designs are contemporary narratives created by juxtaposing different elements of human life.
A London based fashion designer, Shabnam Eslambolchi previously studied engineering. She then decided to pursue her passion for the arts and immersed herself in fashion design at The University of the Arts London, after completing her foundation diploma in Art & Design.
Her designs are contemporary narratives created by juxtaposing different elements of human life. By reflecting on culture, art and history while using expressive silhouettes, paying attention to details and using a variety of crafts which are the highlights of her aesthetics, she creates a sense of an immersive tangible beauty.
My work is a bricolage of human life and a celebration of the female form made with impeccable craftsmanship. My designs are objects of beauty which are socially and intellectually conscious, thus empowering the women who wear them.
If you could share a studio with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
I need to fully concentrate on my work during the design process, that's why I cannot share a work space at all! Sorry!
